The University of San Diego is a dynamic, independent Roman Catholic institution founded in 1949. While primarily recognized for offering an excellent undergraduate liberal arts education, many of its graduate programs are also highly acclaimed (those offered by the School of Business; the School of Law; and the Globe/USD MFA in Dramatic Arts program, to name a few). Graduate and undergraduate enrollment is over 7,000 students.

The 180-acre hilltop campus, known for its graceful Spanish Renaissance architecture, overlooks Mission Bay with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay.
USD’s central location provides students easy access to all of San Diego, including Balboa Park. Los Angeles, a short two hours north, offers MFA students close proximity to the center of the film and television industry.
