Six MFA students will be appearing in three different productions this upcoming Spring Season at The Old Globe. John Keabler in the World Premiere of IN THIS CORNER; Joy Farmer-Clary, Ashley Clements, Sloan Grenz, Tony von Halle are in SEA OF TRANQUILITY; and Michael Kirby will be in THE AMERICAN PLAN.


MFA Program director Richard Seer directs the Huntington Theatre Company's production of Wendy Wasserstein's THIRD.


Alum Jim Parsons co-stars on the new CBS comedy THE BIG BANG THEORY.


Four Old Globe/USD Alumni appeared in THE COAST OF UTOPIA this year. Receiving the most Tony Awards of any play in history, this monumental work was directed by Old Globe Artistic Director Emeritus Jack O’Brien.


Co-Founder of The Old Globe/USD Graduate Acting Program Craig Noel received the National Medal of Arts this November. The National Medal of Arts is the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the United States Government. The National Medal of Arts is awarded by the President of the United States to a select few each year.
